Usui Reiki

Usui Reiki
Claire’s lineage can be traced back to Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan. He is the founder of the Reiki system of healing used all over the world.

Chakra Balancing
During a Reiki treatment, a pendulum can be used to check the orientation of the chakras. This helps to realign and clear blockages.

Reiki Master
Claire has undertaken additional training to become a Reiki Master to support her patients. Reiki Masters have received several attunements.
Claire is a Reiki Shinpi-Den (Master Practitioner) trained by Gena King at Heart and Soul Reiki. She has undertaken Usui Reiki 1, Reiki 2, and Reiki Master training separately, ensuring a deep understanding of this ancient healing art. Her Reiki lineage can be traced back to Dr. Mikao Usui, who rediscovered Reiki in the early 1900s, though its origins are believed to date back thousands of years to Tibetan monks. Reiki is a natural and safe healing practice that involves placing hands on different chakras to promote balance and well-being. While Reiki is not directly linked to acupuncture, Claire offers it as a standalone treatment or in combination with acupuncture for a holistic approach to healing. Reiki practitioners receive attunements, which allow them to channel universal energy to support physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

- the Heart chakra corresponds to the heart and arms
- the Throat chakra affects the lungs and throat
- the Third Eye chakra is linked to the brain, nose, face, and eyes
- the Crown chakra, though not associated with a specific organ, is connected to the whole being
